Electro Propulsion (EProp) is a term used to describe a broad array of propulsion methods originally coined in the airship industry.

Hydrogen is only used for power production, not lift. Any catastrophe powerful enough to damage a hydrogen storage container would decimate the airship making the danger of storing hydrogen in the manner a moot point. Additional safety measures are taken by mounting the tanks and generators outside the main hull in small domes that are completely self contained and sealed off from the main canopy of the airship.
